Ladies and gentlemen, please prepare yourselves for the welcome return of WILCO to our shores in 2010. Set to perform in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, the Chicago Sextet make their fourth journey to Australia for a series of intimate theatre-style shows along the east coast.

Heralded by critics everywhere as "the worlds most exciting rock band", their live set clocks in at over 2 hours and is a spell-binding journey through their rich and inspiring catalogue of tunes. With seven studio albums to their credit WILCO will present a selection from their familiar past,as well as songs from this years outstanding self- titled release "WILCO (the album)".

The latest album represents the full range of WILCO'S musical palette - from the driving opener "Wilco (the song)" to the tense and menacing "Bull Black Nova" to the personal Tweedy favourite, and a central piece of the album, "Everlasting Everything". The eleven songs on "WILCO (the album)" reveal a group fifteen years into its career and at the peak of its game.

This album is the follow-up to 2007's "SKY BLUE SKY", which was the first WILCO recording with the band's current line-up: Tweedy (guitar and vocals); John Stirratt (bass); Nels Cline (guitar); Glenn Kotche (drums); Pat Sansone (multiple instruments); and Mikael Jorgenson (keyboards).

A show not to be missed, WILCO are a band who have continued to grow artistically, continued to make great records, and continue to deliver live shows that are a unique and rewarding experience.
